I identify first and foremost as a Leather Woman. It took me many years to learn that's what I was and WHO I am. Leather to me is not what you wear but what is in your heart and how you treat people from all walks of life! I strive to be honest, loyal, trustworthy, and loving, although I fall short some days. My personal set of values is important to me and I try to always follow what is the best thing for me to do; how can I be of service. My top three values are Honesty, Loyalty, and Communication. I actually teach a class on that subject as it has affected me greatly and I want to share my knowledge with people so we can all learn to have a set of values, morals, & skills
The book that has affected me the most is "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz. I also teach a class on this book as I believe with everything in me that this is my chosen path.
The things I learned from this book are:
1. Be impeccable with your word.
2. Don’t take anything personally.
3. Don’t make assumptions.
4. Always do your best.
These might seem easy to follow but they are not. I've spent the last 10 years trying to learn to master those four things and still am not where I would like to be. I am constantly evolving and learning!
I lean more towards being pansexual/demisexual, consider myself open to all people from all walks of life. I don't care if you have an "inny" or an "outy", and quite simply, I love people and I look for what's in their heart and soul, not how the package looks like or how they identify. I have said for years that pretty packages fade in time; it’s what’s in the heart that withstands time.
